In this episode, Cedrik sits down with Marco and João, the brothers behind Anglotex, a garment manufacturing company that has transformed from a small subcontractor to an innovative leader in the fashion industry. They discuss their journey, the challenges they faced, and how they leveraged technology and a strong team culture to drive growth and agility. The conversation highlights their focus on building strong and long-lasting partnerships with brands such as AllSaints and Represent, the role of innovation in manufacturing, and their vision for the future of Anglotex.
The story of Anglotex
Founded in 1991 by António and Conceição Gomes, Anglotex began as a small sewing unit with just seven team members, rooted in craftsmanship, resilience, and family values.
With the arrival of the second generation, Marco and João Gomes, Anglotex remains a proudly family-run business. Today, it operates across two factories, employing over 200 people directly. When including our closest partners and service providers, our extended network supports over 1,000 people.
Anglotex has grown into a globally recognized manufacturer, proudly receiving multiple “Vendor of the Year” awards from key international clients. A reflection of our commitment to quality, reliability, and partnership.
